The FDA has approved a new vaccine that protects children against six diseases.
Vaxelis is designed to prevent Diphtheria, Tetanus, Whooping Cough, Polio, Hepatitis and HIB (a type of bacteria that causes serious illness.)
It is approved for children between 6 weeks and 4-years-old. The vaccine was developed jointly by drug makers Sanofi and Merck.
It will not be available to the public until 2020 or later.
